Week 9 and Week 10 - Persuasion

We are considering presenting statistical data graphically to persuade the population how they might choose to vote in an election.

You should choose a minimum of four different sets of statistical data you consider relevant to promoting a particular point of view in regard to the election campaign.

Each set of data, needs to include a source, the data itself, an appropriate graphical representation and your reflections on why the representation you have chosen is appropriate to show the features you wish to show. Ideally you should try to demonstrate many different graphical representations. You may also include other statistical measures if appropriate to promote your particular point.

Graphical representations should be drawn by hand, any other information may be prepared digitally and printed. The final presentation of work should be suitable to display on the wall in room 14. Brainstorming and any other work or calculations prior to the final presentation should be completed in your maths book. Mrs Attard has some A3 paper, please collect a piece from Mrs Attard when you are in room 14 if you require it.

Please ensure you conference with Mrs Attard each week. If you have any queries and are unable to conference, you can always email Mrs Attard with your questions.
